Hilary Sadowsky

MSc in RPD (completed in 2019)

Through her research in Nunavut, Hilary became captivated by the Arctic and discovered her interest in working at the interface of social and natural sciences. In addition, Hilary has interests in the study of poverty reduction, food security, land tenure, and rural community development.

Hilary completed a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies (minoring in Political Science) at the University of Waterloo and holds a certificate in Interdisciplinary Indigenous Learning from Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig. To complement her academic experience, Hilary held internships with Project Ploughshares in Waterloo, Ontario, and One4Another International in Uganda. Hilary also has over a decade of experience working as a Primary Care Paramedic in Ontario.
